13-year-old dies after possible medical emergency in north Harris County

Harris County authorities said a 13-year-old died after a possible medical emergency in north Harris County, and investigators are looking into what happened near Veterans Memorial Drive and Antoine in northwest Harris County.

The teen died Thursday after what authorities initially described as a possible medical emergency, KHOU reported. Officials have not released the child’s name, a cause of death or any final explanation. The case remains under investigation, and no additional official details were included in the information made public.
