Harris County man faces multiple child sexual abuse charges

Court documents show a Harris County man faces multiple child sexual abuse charges, putting another child-protection case before county investigators and prosecutors. The filing adds to a system in Harris County that routes these allegations through specialized units, the district attorney’s office and child-advocacy services in Houston.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office keeps a Crimes Against Children section at 1201 Franklin, Suite 600, in Houston, and lists a main phone number of 713-274-5800. The office also maintains a Human Trafficking page. Harris County Constable Precinct 1 says its Internet Crimes Against Children Unit is part of the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a regional setup used for cases that can cross neighborhood, city and county lines.

The Children's Assessment Center, which serves Houston and Harris County, says its mission is to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families. The center also says it offers translation services. People who suspect a child is being abused, neglected or exploited can report it to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services at 1-800-252-5400. The center says good-faith reporters are protected from civil or criminal liability and that their names are kept confidential.

Harris County courts have handled similarly serious allegations before. On Oct. 23, 2025, prosecutors sought a $1 million bond for a man accused of sexually assaulting a 6-month-old baby. In another Harris County investigation, detectives seized hundreds of images described as child erotica from a residence in Hockley and said more charges were possible as they reviewed the evidence.

For parents, school employees and child-protection workers, the immediate step is to report suspicion quickly through the Texas Abuse Hotline rather than waiting for a case to grow worse.
